FIELD: photometry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to photometry, and can be applied in fire smoke optoelectronic point detectors (FSOPD). Claimed light-absorbing device contains a closed cavity with an inlet, limited by the light-absorbing surface of the material. Space of a closed cavity consists of a sequence, in the transverse direction, of spaces of equidistant between each other of the grooves of a semicircular profile made in the material. Surfaces of the grooves are mirrored. Centers of circles, parts of which are profiles of grooves, lie in the same plane. Inlet is directed into the space of the first groove, from which the said sequence begins. Each successive, in accordance with the above sequence, the groove is facing the space of the previous groove and their spaces are combined not less than to the center of the circle, part of which is the profile of the previous groove.
EFFECT: creation of a compact light-absorbing device.
