FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to photometry and can be used in fire optic-electronic point smoke detectors (FOEPSD). Claimed light-absorbing device comprises a first part on whose surface a torus-shaped groove is formed, and a second part with an inlet opening to the closed cavity. According to the first embodiment, the size of the closed cavity of the light absorbing device in the direction of the geometric axis of the inlet opening to this cavity is equal to the radius of the semicircle of the profile of the torus-shaped groove. According to the second embodiment, the size of the closed cavity of the light absorbing device in the direction of the geometric axis of the inlet opening to this cavity is equal to the sum of the radii of the semicircles of the profiles of the two grooves, the radii of the middle circles of which are greater than the radii of the middle circles of the remaining grooves.
