FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for non-invasive cleaning of metal parts from anti-adhesive coatings based on polymers and can be used in mechanical engineering, instrument-making and special chemistry to increase the time of defect-free operation of parts. For a given scanning path, a laser-formed part with a wavelength at which the coating is transparent, irradiates a part with a polymer coating. Separation of the coating occurs in the pre-ablation regime due to the difference in the coefficients of thermal expansion of the coating and the metal. Relief of the metal part remains unchanged.
EFFECT: expansion of the spectrum of processed parts, namely parts of complex shape and large size.
