FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves dispersing the pigment in a 3.0% solution of polyvinylpyrrolidone or polyvinyl alcohol in water using a non-ionic surfactant (OSA) -OOC-20 in the amount of 1.0-1.5 wt % of the pigment and depositing the polymer on the surface particles. Precipitation is carried out by an excess of acetone, which is twice the volume of the polymer solution. Dispersion of the reaction mixture is preferably carried out using an ultrasonic disperser.
EFFECT: resulting microcapsules of the blue phthalocyanine pigment are able to form stable aqueous suspensions and colour the textile materials in the absence of wetting agents.
