Method is characterized by the fact that the determination in the serum of the level of eosinophilic cationic protein (ECP), the selection of genetic material, carrying out the polymerase chain reaction with specific primers, amplification of the sequence in the promoter region of the MnSOD T-58C superoxide dismutase gene and the EPHX1 Tyr-113His epoxy hydrolase gene and with the simultaneous detection of an unfavorable MnSOD T-58C gene C allele and an unfavorable C allele of the EPHX1 Tyr-113His gene and an ECP level higher than 10 mcg/l predict the risk of occupational bronchial asthma among workers for 5 years from the start of work with harmful production factors of sensitizing and irritating effect.

EFFECT: method can be used to predict the risk of early development of occupational bronchial asthma among workers for 5 years from the start of work with harmful production factors of sensitizing and irritating effect.
