METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF TIME OF DEVELOPING OCCUPATIONAL ALLERGIC DERMATOSES AFTER EXPOSURE TO IRRITANT AND SENSITISING FACTORS Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC G01N33/49 C12Q1/68

Abstract RU 2466404 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: genetic material is recovered from patient's venous blood, a PCR is conducted for detecting polymorphous versions of GSTM1 gene. If simultaneously observing deletions and GSTM1-del, and GSTT1-del in GSTM1 and GSTT1 genes respectively, the early development of occupational allergic dermatoses is predicted for the first 3 years from the beginning of contact with irritant and sensitising factors with the severe clinical course in the form of extensive forms of occupational allergic dermatoses and frequent recurrences. If observing one of GSTM1-del or GSTT1-del deletions in GSTM1 and GSTT1 genes respectively, the development of occupational allergic dermatoses is predicted for 3 to 5 years following the beginning of contact with irritant and sensitising factors, while the absence of deletions and GSTM1-del, and GSTT1-del in GSTM1 and GSTT1 genes respectively enables predicting the development of occupational allergic dermatoses at least in 5 years of contact with irritant and sensitising factors.

EFFECT: method provides higher accuracy of prediction of time of developing occupational allergic dermatoses.
