METHOD FOR PROCESSING GEAR WHEELS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC B23C3/00 B23F9/00 B23F9/08

Abstract RU 2677473 C1

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, in particular to a method for processing gear wheels. According to the method, the processing is carried out with a tool of a rotary body with a producing surface formed by two conical sections with profile angles α', moreover, the processing of each convex or rectilinear involute side of the profile is performed by the same rectilinear side of the profile of the conical producing surface and is carried out with three simultaneous non-linearly consistent shaping movements located in one profiling plane, one of which is a rotational movement in a plane of a tool generator with the possibility of touching the straight tool generator at each point of the convex profile being machined, other two are consistent with rotational, with the possibility of rolling a rectilinear generatrix on a processed convex surface when processing. Tool producing surface is formed by a cylindrical section coupled to two conical, the length of which is less than the width of the depression at the foot of the tooth, while the profile of the conical surface of the tool is moved tangentially to the starting point of the involute profile "0" at the top of the tooth by the value of l, which is equal to the length of the entire side surface of the tooth from the top to the point n, and then roll along the involute profile to the point n at which the profile of the conical surface of the tool touches the involute profile last time (rn=0.5mz-m), and the coordinates of the point A of the conventional tool tip in the XOY system are determined by the algorithm indicated in the formula. Next, the tool is moved tangentially to the point n by the radial clearance (0.25m), and the bottom is processed along the circumference of the depressions by two simultaneous movements of the left profile of the workpiece by an angle equal to 90°+α', counterclockwise and at the same time the tool is moved along the X axis until it touches the point n' in this angular position of the workpiece, and processing the left side of the involute profile of the workpiece is carried out according to the algorithm specified in the formula, but in the reverse order.

EFFECT: invention allows to improve the processing accuracy of involute gear wheels with a different number of teeth and a different module.
