Conduct an ultrasound examination of the thyroid gland with the determination of the density of the tumor. Additionally, pulsoptometry of the neoplasm is performed in the thyroid gland. Homogeneous cyst without a solid component is diagnosed with a pulse oscillation amplitude (POA) of 6.5 mm or less and with an optical density of 10 mm and below. Thyroid adenoma is diagnosed with POA values of 34.7 mm and more and optical density values of 42 mm and more.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the accuracy of the differential diagnosis of benign tumors in the parenchyma of the thyroid gland due to the assessment of the optical density and amplitude of the pulse oscillations of the tumors.
