FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Device for puncture of voluminous thyroid formations comprises located in the housing an infrared radiator and a photodetector, a microprocessor amplifier, an optical system, two systems for sampling material, each of which includes a syringe, a stainless steel medical needle with addition of chromium, a mandrel positioned in two hollow cylindrical channels perpendicular to the body surface, one of which is located in the middle between the radiator and the photodetector and can rotate about its axis by means of a handle, and the second is rigidly connected to the radiator and rotates around the first cylindrical channel along the circumference by means of a micro-screw, located in the middle between two channels and connected to them by two gear racks and gear around the micro-screw base at the same level. Rotation of micro-rotor changes distance between channels – radius of circle, distance between radiator and photodetector, angle of incidence and reflection of infrared beams, latter are amplified by microprocessor amplifier and focused on photodiode by optical system.

EFFECT: using the given invention enables higher accuracy of sampling, efficiency of non-traumatic diagnostics of volumetric formations and prevention of iatrogenic complications.
