FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used to diagnose hemarthrosis of the knee joint. Determine the amount of intra-articular fluid in the projection of lateral curvature of the knee joint by means of ultrasound. Magnitude of optical density and amplitude of the pulse oscillations are measured by the pulse-osmotometry method also in the projection of the lateral twist of the joint. If the amount of liquid is 20 ml or more, an optical density of 0.66 and higher, and a pulse oscillation amplitude of 2 mm or less, hemarthrosis is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method provides increase in accuracy of non-invasive diagnosis of knee hemarthrosis by accurately measuring the amount of intraarticular fluid, values of optical density and amplitude of pulse oscillations in the projection of lateral curvature of the knee joint by means of ultrasound and pulsooptometry.
