FIELD: motor vehicle industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of transport machine building. Truck comprises a pair of longitudinal side members, a platform located above the side members, a transversely extending cross member, a spacer element and a tube. Transversely extending cross member is in contact with the platform and is located between the platform and the side members. Spacer element is located between the cross member and one of the side members. Tube is welded to the spacer element and is in contact with the platform. Reinforcement unit for the load platform of the truck comprises a cross member having a surface which defines an opening and an elongated channel, an extruded reinforcing element attached to the cross member outside the channel, and an extruded tubular element.
EFFECT: stiffening of the truck body is achieved.
