SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reinforcement structures for the floor of a pick-up truck bed. Reinforcement welded to a pick-up bed floor comprises a panel having a central section defining an opening for receiving a gooseneck receptacle, a right section and a left section. Panel includes a plurality of transversely extending stiffening ribs spaced from the floor in the right and left sections, and contacting the floor in the central section. Reinforcement is disposed above a fifth wheel cross-member that receives a pedestal on pedestal receptacles.
EFFECT: strength of the central part of the floor of a pick-up truck bed is increased.
