FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio systems and can be used, for example, in airspace surveillance systems, secondary radar and positioning of ground radio sources (GRS). Technical result is achieved through the use of operations for decoding received signals with memorizing the received coordinates, determining the sequence of vectors between points of space with the obtained coordinates with an unknown offset, determining the position of the radio source at successive times by calculating the coordinates of the points, based on the conditions of belonging to their respective position surfaces and the correspondence of their sequence of vectors.
EFFECT: technical result achieved implementation of the determination of the location of the GRS by a two-position system with a highly dynamic measuring point in the case when the GRS transmits its coordinates with an unknown offset.
