METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE SPATIAL PARAMETERS OF THE INTERROGATOR OF AVIATION TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEMS USING SIGNALS FROM ONE TRANSPONDER Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G01S5/00

Abstract RU 2744256 C1

FIELD: radio engineering systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for the passive determination of the spatial parameters of the interrogator of aviation telecommunication systems based on the reception and processing of response signals of one transponder to its requests. The specified effect technical result is achieved due to the introduction of new operations: the accumulation of transponder signals and information decoded from them, the formation from the accumulated transponder signals of the time moments j = 1, 2, …, J3, corresponding to the middle of the transponder response packets generated by the interrogator signal, of data on the transponder positions corresponding to time stamps, and the value of the rotation period of the directional antenna of the interrogator, forming a signal normalized to the rotation period of the directional antenna of the interrogator of sequence, reduced to the positions of the transponder j=1, 2, …, J3, of multiple simulation of the sequence normalized to the rotation period of the directional antenna of the interrogator reduced to the positions of the transponder j=1, 2, …, J3, for various assumed spatial parameters of the interrogator, based on the calculation of the function of mutual proximity of the signal and simulated sequences, normalized to the rotation period of the directional antenna of the interrogator, of forming the estimate of the spatial parameters of the interrogator of aviation telecommunication systems in conditions when only one transponder responds to its requests.

EFFECT: the technical result is the determination of the spatial parameters of the interrogator of telecommunication systems, which is based on the reception of responses to its queries from only one transponder.
