FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the materials processing by cutting, and can be used during the difficult-to-cut materials products, including stainless steel, titanium and its alloys, machining with cutters with high-speed feeds. Provided is the double-sided cutting plate design, made with the parameters corresponding to the given in the formula condition. In the cutter slots made in the above manner cutting plates are installed.
EFFECT: increasing the cutting plates resistance and the cutters working capacity.
