FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the purification of waste gases from heat treatment of raw materials containing precious metals. This method includes cooling the specified exhaust gases to a temperature of from 300 °C up to 500 °C, feeding the cooled waste gases through the first particulate filter to ensure the recovery of solid particles containing precious metals, and dosed introduction of the sorbent into the exhaust gases that have passed through the first filter of solid particles, and passing the exhaust gas through the second filter of solid particles.
EFFECT: improved technical efficiency of the recovery of platinum group metals is achieved.
