FIELD: metallurgical equipment. SUBSTANCE: method for processing of wastes containing precious metals and organic components includes combustion of wastes, complete combustion of combustion products, and further extraction of precious metals from ash, e.g., chemically. Characteristic feature of method is complete combustion both, of solid part of wastes of combustion process and gaseous one. In so doing, wastes in solid state are crushed in zone of combustion, ash is collected into container to which gaseous oxidizer is supplied. Device has combustion chamber 1 with charging door 2, heating members 3 and multitier fire grates 4. Wastes 5, e.g., of jewelry production containing particles of precious metals are burnt on grate 4 and ash gradually drops to chamber of complete combustion of solid wastes 6 provided with heating members 7 and container 11 to which air or oxygen is blown.
