FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: proposed is a photobioreactor for CO2 biosequestration with immobilised biomass of algae or cyanobacteria. Photobioreactor has a closed structure divided into segments, wherein the algae or cyanobacteria are immobilised having a diameter of 5 mm to 40 mm. Capsules are supplied with light from a light source by light tubes, wherein the light tubes are made to deliver light directly to the interior of said biomass capsules.

EFFECT: invention provides effective removal of CO2 from gases containing CO2 in high concentrations.
