FIELD: pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pharmaceutical industry, in particular to a method for producing a preparation having hepatoprotective activity. Method of obtaining a drug with hepatoprotective activity includes adding sodium hydroxide solution to himatomelanic acids isolated from low-mineralized silt sulfide mud; temperature control in a water bath; filtering through a paper filter; neutralizing the resulting solution with hydrochloric acid; volume adjustment with distilled water; prepared solution of himatomelanic acids is filled into dark glass flasks, sealed tightly and sterilized with UV light with a bactericidal lamp.
EFFECT: above method allows to expand the range of drugs with hepatoprotective activity.
