SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of foam fire extinguishing, in particular, to the extinguishing of fires of combustible and flammable liquids, covering large areas of combustion, large storage tanks of petroleum products and their straits over a large area. Essence of the proposed method lies in the fact that in the method of obtaining the self-foaming gas-filled foam, which consists in bubbling the products of combustion through the foaming agent solution and the saturation of the specified solution with gases in an airtight container and its supply to the combustion chamber with the formation of a self-expanding gas-filled foam on its surface, during the creation of the foaming solution, the concentrated foaming solution is intensively mixed with water in the tank, and then with a delay of 3 to 10 seconds, the resulting foaming agent solution is supplied to the combustion chamber. Essence of the claimed device lies in the fact that in a device for producing a self-foaming gas-filled foam, including a sealed container, gas generating device, made in the form of a set of aerosol generators, consisting of two or more generators, having separate combustion chambers with gas pipes, included simultaneously, sequentially or in groups in accordance with the required intensity of the supply of the foaming agent solution to the combustion site and the aerosol generators providing the exhaust of the combustion products to the lower part of the tank and bubbling of the foaming agent solution with the solution saturated with fire extinguishing aerosol, hermetic tank is filled with water, and the concentrated foaming solution is stored in a separate tank, on which a gas-generating device is installed, similar to generators mounted on a tank with water.

EFFECT: method is proposed for producing a self-foaming gas-filled foam.
