FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of foam fire extinguishing and is intended for preventing and extinguishing large-sized fires in hard-to-reach areas, creating barrier strips for the elimination of forest top and bottom fires. The proposed method includes a system for supplying a jet of an aqueous solution of a foaming agent with the introduction of a hydroreacting composition into it, which mixes and interacts with the aqueous solution of the foaming agent with the release of a gas that foams the foaming agent solution to the desired multiplicity. The desired multiplicity of foam and the specified distance of self-foaming of the jet from the cut of the barrel of the feed system is carried out by the consumption of the hydroreacting composition mixed into the jet and the choice of the delay of interaction of the hydroreacting composition with an aqueous solution of the foaming agent, respectively. The technical effect of the claimed device is that the device for producing a self-foaming jet of a given multiplicity of high range includes a sealed container with the foaming agent solution, a gas-generating device made in the form of a solid fuel gas generator placed on the top cover of this container and providing displacement of the aqueous solution of the foaming agent, as well as a cylindrical chamber with a hydroreacting composition placed inside the container with the aqueous solution of the foaming agent, connected in the upper part to the gas generating device through a filter cooler, so that part of the gas from the gas generator passes through the filter cooler, entering the chamber with a granular hydro-reacting composition, weighs it, turning it into a pseudo-liquid flowing into the lower part of the chamber, connected through an adapter with a barrel having nozzles for entering the aqueous solution of the foaming agent, and a nozzle for entering the pseudo-liquid with the hydro-reacting composition.
EFFECT: jet of the aqueous solution of the foaming agent with a hydro-reacting composition introduced into it flows out of the feed system in an non-foamed state, and foaming is provided at a given distance behind the cut of the barrel of the feed system, reducing the aerodynamic drag of the jet.
