SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fire extinguishing, namely to a mobile modular installation for extinguishing large fires on tanks and equipment with oil products, including a water tank placed horizontally in a sea container with an openable awning on a vehicle chassis, is divided by flat partition into two modules – main and standby, each of which is equipped with an internal foam tank with a foam generator displacement generator and two or more pressure generators for displacement of fire extinguishing agent filled with solid-propellant gas-generating combined charges. Invention provides extinguishing large fires on tanks with oil products, by means of a mobile device, which is completely mounted in a sea container and can be delivered to a fire place by an ordinary automobile container ship, can be transported by air by cargo planes, as well as by all types of water transport.

EFFECT: plant can be used at oil and gas facilities – oil product warehouses, tank farms, pumping units, in case of emergency spills by feeding large volumes of foam solutions through dry pipes to the fire object.
