SUBSTANCE: control system contains a reading system and a charger control device, wherein the control device of the charger contains a start-up and operation detection unit, a smooth start control unit, an operation control unit, and a smooth shifting control unit; moreover, the operation control unit contains a mode determination unit, constant voltage control unit, total current restriction control unit and charging current restriction control unit. During operation of the charger, after the smooth start is completed, switching occurs between the operating state with permanent constant voltage, the operating state with total current restriction and the operating state with charging current restriction in accordance with the differences in conditions, and the smooth shifting control unit provides for switching the control device between operation states in accordance with differences in the operation states of the charging device with smooth shifting implementation within the control method for the charging device and has high steady state characteristics and high dynamic characteristics.

EFFECT: ensuring smooth switching of the charger based on a bridge converter between different modes and stable operation at the moment of switching.
