SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, in particular to an activator assembly for an automatic injector and an automatic injector comprising an activator assembly. In the method, the activator assembly contains cylindrical housing (3) and an elastic element. Said elastic element comprises first coil spring (1), the proximal end of which rests directly on the proximal end of the substantially cylindrical housing, and the far end rests directly on the spring adapter. Said elastic element includes second coil spring (2), which is located on the same axis with first coil spring (1) and whose diameter is larger than the diameter of first coil spring (1). While the proximal end of the second coil spring abuts directly against the proximal end of the housing, and the distal end of the second coil spring rests directly against the spring adapter. Further, the node contains a piston made with the ability to move along the axis and located at a distance from the elastic element. Said node includes a holding element connected to the piston and located inside the elastic element, wherein the holding element has locking protrusions for fixing the piston. Said piston is located opposite the elastic element and the holding element. Automatic injector contains an activator assembly and injection unit (9) connected to the activator assembly.
