Calculating the ratio between the energy at the decoded representation end portion of the properly decoded audio frame preceding the lost audio frame, or at the end portion of the scaled version of the decoded representation of the properly decoded audio frame preceding the lost audio frame, and full energy in the decoded representation of the properly decoded audio frame preceding the lost audio frame, or in a scaled version of the decoded representation of the properly decoded audio frame preceding the lost audio frame to obtain an attenuation coefficient.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of audio coding.
