SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication equipment. Method for paging subscriber devices includes the steps of: determining, by means of a mobility management entity (MME), before performing a search call of a subscriber device in an idle state, a base station last accessed by subscriber unit (S201); determining, by the MME, that the base station last accessed by the subscriber unit, is in no-overload state (S202); and sending, by the MME, a paging message including the subscriber unit identifier to the base station last accessed by subscriber unit (S203).

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to improve the efficiency of paging subscriber devices.
