FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for measuring and controlling the misalignment manually or automatically by known methods in which a double misalignment value is obtained. Essence of the method lies in the fact that they measure twice the misalignment value, then replace the meter with a meter of a smaller range, in which the true misalignment value is set and the misalignment is adjusted by displacing one of the shafts.

EFFECT: realization of the purpose, namely the creation of a method for measuring and controlling shaft misalignment.
