FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in the alternative conversion of the kinetic energy of the flow into electricity. In the inventive method of producing electric power, the working medium is a dielectric medium: dielectric fluid, aerosol, gas. Source of energy is the kinetic energy of the stream, both of natural origin: wind, and technogenic: exhaust gases, forced flows, etc. Dissimilar charged ionized particles are generated in individual chambers by means of corona discharges at the poles of a passive generating electrode located in an electrostatic field induced by inductive electrodes insulated from the working fluid with an insulated high-voltage constant potential applied to them relative to the grounded conductor. Charged particles are transferred by the flow of the working fluid to the collectors, in which they are neutralized on the inner conductive surface, from which the charges flow to the outer surface of the collectors and accumulate in the form of electricity on galvanically associated drives.
EFFECT: elimination of mechanically moving parts formation when converting.
