FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry and chemistry of heterocyclic compounds, namely to an improved method of producing 1,2,4-triazole derivatives with substituted azaheterocyclic radicals of formula (I). Method involves reaction of S,S-dimethylcyanodithioimidocarbamate with amines while boiling in an organic solvent, subsequent reaction of the formed N-cyano-S-methylisothioureas with hydrazine hydrate, extraction of the product by filtration, washing and drying. Method is characterized by that the reaction of S,S-dimethylcyanodithioimidocarbamate is carried out with secondary heterocyclic amines while boiling in isopropyl alcohol for 3 hours, 100 ml of isopropyl alcohol is used per 1 mole of S,S-dimethylcyanodithioimidocarbamate. Then the solution is cooled to 50 °C and hydrazine hydrate is added thereto, the mixture is boiled for 45-150 minutes, wherein molar ratio of reagents is used: dimethylcyanodithioimidocarbamate : secondary heterocyclic amine : hydrazine hydrate = 1:1:1.00-2.50. Before extracting the product, the mixture is cooled to room temperature, the precipitate formed during cooling of the solution is washed with isopropanol preheated to temperature of 48±5 °C, in an amount of not less than 1/2 of the volume of isopropanol used in the synthesis.
