FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the manufacture of a bimetallic nozzle with the use of surfacing for its working cavity. Mechanical and heat treatment of the nozzle body blank, arc welding of high-speed steel alloyed with boron, onto the working part of the nozzle at the current of 50–56 A and at the arc voltage of 5–6 V with control of the process of transfer of the electrode metal in the arc by means of a pulsed wire feed and a pulsed current mode synchronized with it. Weld layer with the thickness from 1 to 2 mm is obtained. Then, gas laser cutting of the deposited metal is carried out at the speed of 2,300–2,500 mm/min at the laser power of 4,000–5,000 W with the formation of the working cavity of the nozzle. Then, tempering of the deposited bimetallic blank is performed by a single heating of the deposited bimetallic blank in the furnace at the temperature from 520 to 540 °C for 40 min.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the hardness and wear resistance of the deposited working parts.
