SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automotive industry, in particular to systems and devices for increasing active safety of vehicles. In the method, a hazardous driving detection system installed on a vehicle includes a computer, wherein the computer has a processor and memory. Further, the computer is configured to collect data related to the yaw rate of the vehicle for a certain period of time, calculate the actual trajectory and the ideal trajectory for the vehicle for the mentioned period of time, determine the yaw rate deviation associated with the actual trajectory from the yaw rate associated with the ideal trajectory, calculate the variance of the deviation and provide an indication of the dangerous driving condition if the variance exceeds a predetermined variance threshold value.
EFFECT: higher safety of vehicle driving is achieved.
