FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Crystalline masses and the fibrous layers of the posterior capsule are removed, the intraocular lens is implanted into the capsular sac. Irrigation and aspiration bimanual system of handles is used to remove fibrous layers. At that, by means of irrigation handle having metal tip with pointed 45-degree-incised edge with diameter of 23 G, fibrous layers, intimately soldered with back capsule, are removed. That is combined with fluid flow supporting depth of anterior chamber and washing off scraping fibrous layers.
EFFECT: method enables clearing and achieving transparency of the posterior capsule, as well as providing operation safety by preventing complications caused by opening the posterior capsule of the lens.
