FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for surgical treatment of combined pathology: paralytic mydriasis and complicated cataract. That is ensured by performing paracenteses at 2 and 9 o’clock. Mesatone, lidocaine, adhesive viscoelastic are introduced into the anterior chamber. Main corneal incision of 2 mm at 11 o'clock, a continuous circular capsulorhexis with diameter of 6 mm, a hydrodissection, a hydrodelineation and a rotation of a lens nucleus are performed. Further, cataract phacoemulsification is performed with subsequent removal of cortical layers. Cohesive viscoelastic is introduced. Intraocular lens is implanted into a capsular bag through a cartridge D using a "monarch 3" injection system. Viscoelastic is removed from under the lens with an aspiration cannula. Cohesive viscoelastic is introduced into the anterior chamber. Artificial iris is folded in two folds with the help of tweezers into a cartridge D. Injector is used to implant an artificial iris into a lumen of a capsular sac on the surface of an intraocular lens without widening the main incision, sequentially tucking under the edge of the anterior capsulorhexis by the hook for rotation. Viscoelastic residues are removed by aspiration and irrigation. Depth of anterior chamber is filled with BSS solution. Operation is completed by sealing the surgical approach without a suture.
EFFECT: invention allows eliminating lens opacity, iris defect, achieving correction of refractive disorders, which in turn provides functional and aesthetic results.
