FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ice engineering and can be used to create ice crossings for the transportation of goods. Technical result is achieved by freezing ice pylons under the ice cover. To do this, through holes are drilled in the ice, through which pipes with a welded bottom end are vertically lowered, which rest against the bottom of the basin. Upper end of the pipe is left above the ice cover. Horizontal metal washers are installed on the pipes in the form of radiator fins, while the vertical distance between them is chosen to be as sufficient as possible to ensure the closure of ice layers on them. Cold air, entering inside the pipe, causes its icing and the formation of an ice support.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the carrying capacity of the ice crossing.
