Method in the embodiments of the present invention provides for the creation and self-correction of valuation library of a valuable document, where one of creation steps involves selection of multidimensional characteristic of a valuable document, calculating center of attribute mass and calculating group of planes of relative values in order to obtain value library of value document; and self-correction step includes highlighting the newly added attribute of the valuable document, evaluating the category to which this attribute belongs, calculating the replaced center of mass, and correcting values library using the replaced center of mass.

EFFECT: ensuring long-term sustainable result of use of recognition tools, taking into account changes in use conditions.
