FIELD: light and microwave engineering; lighting and irradiating devices. SUBSTANCE: microwave exciter of electrodeless gas- discharge lamp used to produce optical radiation fluxes in visible or ultraviolet spectrums has axisymmetric -type microwave resonator, where w = 1, 2, 3, with translucent side wall and two end walls, at least one of them being opaque; electrodeless lamp coaxially disposed in vicinity of crest of microwave electric field whose internal symmetry axis is common with resonator; internal and external reflectors; internal reflector is made in the form of central post with mirror-reflecting side surface; electrodeless lamp is made in the form of hollow torus around the post; in addition external reflector is composed of two circular lips arranged at opposite end walls of microwave resonator. Central post is meant to have at least one concave section whose side surface is closed in azimuth. In addition curvature centers of circular envelopes of concave sections are proposed to be disposed on circular axis of lamp. Reflecting surfaces of external reflector and of concave section of post are also proposed to be shaped in radial sectional area as envelopes constituting sections of at least one parabola, focuses of the latter being disposed on circular axis of lamp. EFFECT: enhanced directivity of radially diverging azimuth-symmetrical optical radiation flux, improved stability of shape, enhanced vibration and shock resistance, effective lamp cooling conditions. 10 cl, 8 dwg
