SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery. Two conductor strings are passed through the endoscope channel into the main bronchi of the right and left lungs. Skin markers of the bifurcation zone are placed. Two metal self-expanding stents containing polymer film coatings and provided with radiopaque marks are inserted along the conductor strings under fluoroscopic control, followed by opening of the stents. In this case, a stent is used that is intended for installation in the main bronchus of the right lung, with holes located at least in the interface between this stent and the orifice of the right upper lobar bronchus. When placing skin markers, the levels of the caudal edge of stenoses and localization of the mouth of the right upper lobar bronchus are additionally determined, followed by alignment of the radiopaque marks with the mentioned markers when placing stents along the conductor strings. In this case, the deployment of two stents is carried out simultaneously with the alignment of the cranial edges of the two stents in the trachea at the same level and the placement of the stent holes at the mouth of the right upper lobar bronchus.

EFFECT: method enables expansion, restoration and maintenance of the airway patency, ventilation of the distal bronchi of both lungs, prevention of airway narrowing and the risk of asphyxia, restoration and maintenance of the drainage function of the bronchi of both lungs.
