SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding and relates to the movement of vessels when they are put afloat or lifted out of water using pneumatic roller bags. Method of moving the vessel includes laying roller bags, made in the form of a cylindrical shell with narrowed conical ends, in an empty position under the bottom of the vessel at least in one row with a specified interval from each other and the longitudinal axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the vessel, supply of compressed gas through valves installed in the conical part of the roller bags, lifting the vessel and then moving it on the bags used as rollers. Before placing roller bags, they are given a flat shape with longitudinal folds from the folded transport position.

EFFECT: technical result is to reduce labor costs, increase reliability and simplify work on the movement of vessels.
