SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, in particular to electrical steel sheet with an oriented structure. To ensure low iron loss and low noise characteristics when used in transformers, sheet steel has many areas of deformation, localized represented in its surface layer and formed in the direction perpendicular to the direction of rolling, with a periodicity interval s (mm) in the direction of rolling. Each deformation region has a section of closing domains formed continuously over an interval of 200 mm in the width direction, which varies in the rolling direction in a periodic manner over the surface of the sheet. Each segment of the closing domains satisfies the following conditions: Wmax/Wmin = 1.2 or more and less than 2.5, where Wmax and Wmin respectively, indicate the maximum width and the minimum width on the surface of the sheet when measured in the rolling direction, Wave is 80 microns or more, where Wave indicates the average width on the surface of the sheet when measured in the rolling direction, D is 32 mcm or more, where D denotes the maximum depth when measured in the direction of the sheet thickness and (Wave ⋅ D)/s is 0.0007 mm or more and 0.0016 mm or less.
