FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to anisotropic electrical steel sheet and can be used in making transformer cores. Anisotropic electrical steel sheet comprises a base steel sheet, a glass coating formed on the base steel sheet, and a tension-imparting insulating coating formed on the glass coating. In the base steel sheet there are multiple linear deformations, which extend continuously or intermittently in the direction intersecting with the rolling direction, intervals in direction of rolling of multiple adjacent to each other linear deformations are 10 mm or less. In that area, where there are deformations, there is a closing domain, length d of the closing domain in the direction along the thickness of the sheet from the surface of the main steel sheet is 30–60 mcm, the length w of the closing domain in the rolling direction is 200 mcm or less. Ratio m/d of depth m from the surface of the main steel sheet, where the compression deformation in the rolling direction present in the closing domain exhibits the maximum value, to the said length d is in the range of more than 0.30 and less than 0.90. Sheet is made of steel containing, wt %: C 0.010 or less, Si 3.00–4.00, Mn 0.01–0.50, N 0.010 or less, sol. Al 0.020 or less, S 0.010 or less, P 0.030 or less, Cr 0–0.50, Sn 0–0.50, Cu 0–0.50, Se 0–0.020, Sb 0–0.50, Mo 0 –0.10, Fe and impurities are the rest.

EFFECT: sheet is characterized by improved characteristics of magnetic losses and noise characteristics.
