FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to production of textured electrical steel sheets. Sheet steel comprises closing domains, each of which includes discrete area on its part and extends at angle of 30° relative to transverse direction of sheet steel, where overlapping area of closing domains in discrete area on one surface of sheet steel has length α in transverse direction, which is greater than length β in transverse direction for section overlapping closing domains on other surface of sheet steel, and length α satisfies expression 0.5≤α≤5.0, and length β satisfies expression 0.2α≤β≤0.8α.
EFFECT: reduced losses in the core and magnetostrictive properties in discrete areas.
