FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Device for optimizing the biomechanics of the lower jaw with a subtotal defect has upper and lower arc guides, vertical beams with multidirectional threads at the ends, sets of needles and dismountable brackets of I, II and III types. Dismountable bracket of I type consists of external and internal fragments. Outer fragment in the upper part has two mutually perpendicular holes, with the horizontal hole for holding the needles, and the vertical hole for the thread lock of the needles. Outer fragment in the lower part has a horizontal hole for fixing the inner fragment of the bracket type I with a bolt. Perceptive surface is formed on the inner surface of the outer fragment and the inner fragment of the dismountable I type bracket for fixing the upper and lower arcs. Dismountable bracket of II type consists of outer and inner fragments. Outer fragment in the upper part has a hole with an internal thread for a vertical beam with oppositely directed threads at the ends. Outer fragment of the bracket of II type in the lower part has a horizontal hole with internal thread for fixing with the inner fragment through the technological opening of the bracket type II with a bolt. On the inner surface of the outer and inner fragments of the dismountable bracket of II type there is a perceiving surface for fixing the guide of the upper arc. Dismountable bracket of the III type consists of external and internal fragments. Outer fragment of the bracket of III type in the upper part has a hole for the introduction of a vertical beam with oppositely directed threads at the ends. Outer fragment of the dismountable bracket of III type in the lower part has a horizontal hole with an internal thread for fixing with the inner fragment of the bracket type III through the hole with a bolt. On the inner surface of the outer and inner fragments of the dismountable bracket of III type, between the upper and lower part of there is a perceiving surface for fixing the lower guide arc. Dismountable type I brackets are mounted on the upper and lower arcs. On the side surfaces of the upper arc on the right and left there are dismountable brackets of II type. On the side surfaces of the lower arc on the right and on the left there are dismountable type III brackets. Brackets of II and III types are fixed together in the same plane by vertical beams with oppositely directed threads at the ends.
EFFECT: invention provides stable fixation of bone fragments located along the periphery of the subtotal lower jaw defect.
