SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mobile communication. Methods and devices for autonomous handover processing for user equipment (UE) in a trunking group are proposed. UE in a listening state sends a measurement report for a target cell to a network side before the UE produces an autonomous handover containing information about the measurements of the target cell used to determine UE switching, and generates autonomous handover from a source cell to the target cell after sending the report with the measurement results.

EFFECT: solving problems leading to poor quality of service delivery as a result of the inability of the base station (network side) to obtain information about autonomous UE handover, a relatively large amount of configuration information at the air interface due to frequent autonomous handover in related technology; network side is given the opportunity to participate in the autonomous UE handover; handover frequency and a number of UE configuration messages at an air interface are reduced, while the autonomous handover improves the quality of service delivery.
