FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and can be used in heat transfer devices, for example in nuclear power plants. This invention consists in the fact that in an apparatus for increasing heat removal on convex heat dissipating surfaces, containing a top twisting device arranged with respect to the convex surface with a gap δ, divided by longitudinal ribs into a number of channels, the number of longitudinal n edges, located on a convex surface, is chosen using condition 0.1πdin / δ ≥ n ≥ 0, where δ – clearance height, din is the diameter of the convex heat-dissipating surface. Also, this invention relates to a method for increasing heat removal on convex heat-dissipating surfaces by separating the flow, fed to a convex heat-emitting surface, onto the lower and upper flows and their spins.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the intensity of heat removal.
