FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Gastric band comprises two end zones and an intermediate portion. Inner side of the band is designed to come into contact with the stomach. End zones are equipped with respectively complementary fastening means, selected from teeth and locking loops, configured for interaction with each other to lock the band in a fastened position. End zone comprises at least one tooth and is designed to pass through at least one locking loop located on the outer side of the end zone to a locked fastening position. In the locked fastening position, at least one tooth extends beyond at least one locking loop. End zone further comprises a guide loop.
EFFECT: gastric calibration band is disclosed.
