SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ophthalmosurgery. An applicator for the surgical fastener feed comprises a body, an elongated stem with its end attached to the body, and a release system for the surgical fastener feed from the front end of the elongated stem. The release system comprises a releasing rod in the elongated stem, and has a fastener feed cycle. The cycle involves the first stage for advancing the releasing rod towards the front end of the elongated stem at the first rate, and the second stage for advancing the releasing rod towards the front end of the elongated stem at the second rate. The second rate exceeds the first one.
EFFECT: structural improvement.
