FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the medical equipment, namely, to the surgical fastening elements with articulated joints and tips made with possibility of deflection. Surgical fastening element for the medical device securing to the tissue contains the first leg, the second leg and the bridge. First leg includes the proximal end, distal end, first insertion tip at the first leg distal end and the first hinged joint, which divides the first leg into the proximal segment and the distal segment, configured to deflect relative to the first leg proximal segment. Second leg includes the proximal end, the distal end, the second tip for insertion at the second leg distal end and the second hinged joint, which divides the second leg into the proximal segment and the distal segment, configured to deflect relative to the second leg proximal segment. Bridge connects the first and second legs proximal ends to form the surgical fastening element closed end. Surgical fastening element further comprises the first alignment guide, passing between the first leg proximal and distal ends, and the second alignment guide, passing between the second leg proximal and distal ends. First and second hinged joints are omnidirectional, allowing the insertion tip to deflect in all directions relative to the leg proximal segment.

EFFECT: use of the invention enables the prosthetic materials low-profile fixation on the human body soft tissues.
