SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and can be used for the installation of surgical fastening components. A surgical fastening component for fastening to the tissue of a prosthetic device includes the first leg and the second leg. The first leg has the distal end, the proximal end and the first inset tip on the distal end. The second leg has the distal end, the proximal end and the second inset tip on the distal end. Proximal ends of the first and second legs are connected with a bridge. The bridge forms a closed end of the surgical fastening component. The first inset tip has the first mating surface with the inserting instrument. The second inset tip has the second mating surface with the inserting instrument. The first mating surface with the inserting instrument is located closer to the distal end of the first leg than to its proximal end. The second mating surface with the inserting instrument is located closer to the distal end of the second leg than to its proximal end. The first and the second legs are oriented along their respective longitudinal axes, and the first and the second insert tips are deviated outwards relative to the said respective longitudinal axes.

EFFECT: surgical fastening component has the minimal profile height and can be installed by a laparoscopic method.
