SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electrical appliance, which contains a steam-generating base and a device for ironing and/or steaming interconnected by a cord, moreover, the base is supplied with electricity through a cable made with the possibility of connection to the home electrical network, at the same time one end of the cable is provided with a connector that allows to electrically connect the cable to a connector with a complementary shape located on the base and accessible from the outside of the base, moreover, the specified connector with a complementary shape is located in the bottom of a recess that exists on the lower surface of the base, while the lower side of the base contains a groove for cable placement when the cable is attached to the base, and this groove contains means for clamping the cable and holding it in the groove.
