FIELD: acoustics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acoustics, in particular to an array of loudspeakers. Loudspeaker comprises a plurality of drivers mounted on a speaker assembly in the same plane. Each head corresponds to a magnetic reactive force and moment, which depends on the position of the head relative to the centre of mass of the speaker assembly. Heads are displaced sideways from each other relative to the centre of mass of the speaker assembly and are positioned in such a way that the forces and moments corresponding to the heads mounted on the speaker assembly eliminate speaker vibration. Sum of the forces corresponding to all heads mounted on said speaker assembly is zero, and the sum of moments corresponding to all heads is zero. First set of heads faces a first direction, and the second set of heads faces second direction opposite to the first. Loudspeaker comprises a first sound reflecting surface located in front of the first set of heads and almost parallel to said first mounting surface, and a second sound reflecting surface located in front of the second set of heads and almost parallel to the second mounting surface.

EFFECT: reduced body vibration.
